How-to

The jobs you will actually do.

Every one of these is recorded in the real portal, not a mock-up. Each has its steps written out beside it, so you can follow along in your own tab rather than pausing a video every ten seconds.

Add a new listing

My Inventory

The five-step wizard, start to submitted. Do this once and the rest of the portal has something to work with.

Recording on its way. The steps beside this cover it in the meantime.

  1. From the dashboard, open My Inventory and choose Add listing.
  2. Basics — what it is and where it is. This is what an advisor sees first.
  3. Details — the fields our advisors filter and match on. The more of these you fill, the more often you come up.
  4. Availability — the seasons and days you actually trade.
  5. Media — attach photography from your library, or upload it here.
  6. Publishing — review the whole thing and send it to OTA. It stays a draft, visible only to you, until you do.

Record a closure or renovation

Operations

The two-minute job that stops an advisor selling a week you cannot honour.

Recording on its way. The steps beside this cover it in the meantime.

  1. Open Operations and choose New availability window.
  2. Pick what is happening — closure, renovation, limited capacity, or open.
  3. Choose which product it applies to, and the dates it runs from and to.
  4. Add a note for advisors: what they should tell a client who asks.
  5. Save. Advisors with clients already booked with you see it from that moment.

Upload photography and set usage rights

Media Library

Why images with rights recorded against them get used, and images without them do not.

Recording on its way. The steps beside this cover it in the meantime.

  1. Open Media Library and choose Add photography.
  2. Upload the image, at the largest size you have.
  3. Record what we may do with it — where it may appear and for how long.
  4. Save. The image is now available to every one of your listings, and to our editors.

Give a colleague access

Account

You authorise your own team. No ticket to us, no shared password.

Recording on its way. The steps beside this cover it in the meantime.

  1. Open Account and find Who can sign in.
  2. Add your colleague's work email address.
  3. They sign in with that address using Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, or a link emailed to them.
  4. Remove access the same way when someone leaves.
